What is a Muse?

"Trifocals: One Man's View" book has a lot of "musings" but I suspect many are not aware of the term and its meaning as I use the word.

Dictionary definition: a period of reflection or thought. And in my case, written down to turn cloudy, murky into something more definitive and shared and questioned.

Well that did not help. For example, ever think about or ponder something like "hugs"? Hugs, a common human contact but how long does one hold a hug? Who relaxes first? Does who relaxes first mean anything. An a hug between a man and a woman, is there always a sexual component too it?

So I ponder, or think about of a lot of common things as they are always much deeper in content that just the surface view and humans aren't taught how to muse or ponder.
