Summary: bought to help quiet noisy compressor. Did not help.

Background:

22 year old York, 5 ton, home high voltage air conditioning (HVAC).

Noisy compressor.

Bought can of Nu-Calgon A/C Re-New.

Had a tap and injection hose for Nu-Calgon EasySeal but would not fit A/C Re-New!!

Bought a can tap specially for A/C Re-New. Had to use charging hose I had as can tap did not come with hose.

Took maybe 5 minutes or longer for A/C Re-New can to empty into my system.

 

Did it work:

 One of the defined benefits of A/C Re-New is that it will quiet a noisy compressor.

A/C Re-New did not quiet my specific compressor.

There are other defined benefits to using A/C Re-New but much harder to guide or judge so I can not comment.

Perhaps A/C Re-New will quiet your compressor or perhaps not.
