(15 Dec 2018: I no longer live in house with AT&T security system installed. If you email, I will try to answer but no longer have system to experiment with)

Background:

In my home, I have an AT&T home security system consisting of an AT&T 8000 Level-4 Central Controller (CC) (model 8720), wireless keypads AT&T model 8440, universal transmitters AT&T model 8240 connected to magnetic (Normally closed) switches mounted on various windows and doors and smoke detectors AT&T model 8520. I also have one glass break detector, several Vulcan one shot heat detectors and several universal transmitter-based heat detectors. The system was professionally installed in 1993.

In 1998, AT&T withdrew from the home security system market and now it is tough to find much, if any, information about the AT&T home security system on the Internet or anywhere. In the following topic-based links, I provide what I have been able to collect in the way of information about the system.

If you have any information you would like to share with current system users, please email all information to me and I make sure this web site is updated. Also, if you have a questions, email me and I will attempt to answer.
