"AT&T Home Security System"

"Eliminating a Monitoring Station Phone Call Just for System Trouble"

I use Vector Security for as my system's monitoring company.

I like the fact that my system will autodial Vector and report a burglary or fire but it is annoying to have them call me to simply inform me that there is "trouble" somewhere in my system, i.e., a low battery somewhere! The central controller (CC) informs me of "trouble" in the system. I don't need Vector for that, so:

- I took the front cover off the CC,

- Removed the wire under terminal 22 that runs to the AT&T digital communicator and "capped" it off.

Now when I have "trouble", the CC beeps but Vector is not called and in turn, they do not call me.

Simple enough.
