"Toilet - Push Button, Dual Flush Flapper"

"A dual flush, a small amount or a larger amount, makes sense but the implementation I had,

 with a push button....NO"

Background:

Wondering Home Depot and came across a push button, dual flush, flapper valve.

What an idea! A small flush of water or a larger flush.

SO, I buy 3 of these.

Easy enough to install but discover these are just "flapper values" so you still need a fill valve.

Problems:

Supposed to be easy to adjust amount of small flush and larger flush but on 1 of 3 of installed, could never get either flush amount correct.

Push buttons, a small one and a larger one, were too damn hard to push. No child could ever flush a toilet with this installed.

As push button toilets are not common, lots of visitors could not figure it out or push hard enough.

Push button control cable can get on fill valve and cause tank to overfill or even overflow.

SO...I removed all and replaced with old reliable rubber flapper.

New Ones on Market:

There are lever-based, dual flush flapper valves available now. Lever up for small and down for larger or something similar but after experience with push button valve, nope.

Might work for you but buy only 1 and try it before committing to buying enough for all your toilets.
