2004 ET4 bought new in January 2004
Useful information:
Original carburetor was Walbro WVF 6F or a variation of this.
Engine oil: 5W-40 Synthetic European
1 Liter/quart without filter change.
1 quart and 4 ounces with new filter.
Add oil only when engine is cold and only a very little at a time, like tablespoons amount.
Screw oil dipstick all the way in to get a proper reading.
If have flooding carburetor, must take all oil and filter out immediately and replace.
Exhaust Allen Bolts: 6mm
Exhaust Allen Bolts: Long bolt goes at bottom.
Exhaust nuts: 10mm
Oil drain plug: 24mm
Spark plug: RG6YC
Spark plug has a removable cover over it. Removing cover makes it easier to see and remove plug.
Gear oil: 75W90 Exactly 5 ounces.
Clock battery: 1.5Volts original Bolivia 617 but Duracell 301/386 works.
Have to take complete dash apart to get to this battery.
Fuel pitcock is vacuum operatored. If engine running, vaccum allows gravity feed to carburetor.
Side mirrors: rider left has 13mm nut, right side simply screws into frame.
