"How Many Dreams?"

Amercia. Numbers. Counts. Everything in America has to be numbered, counted, valued.

So yesterday was describing a dream to a friend and it hit me: wonder how many dreams I might have had over my lifetime?

Oh, I understand that the number means nothing at all but how many?

1. 1 year = 365nights. 1 year = 12 months

2. Current age = 64.

3. 365 x 64 =  23360 nights.

4. If 1 dream per night, then 23360 dreams

5. 23360!

6. Nights I did not sleep at all? 1st every 4 months or 3 times/yr x 64yrs = 192 nights

7. 23360 - 192 = 23168 dreams

8. Not a dream every night but how often? 50%?  11584

9. Still 11584 dreams.

10. How many actually remember in the morning?  Maybe 1/month?

11. 12*64 = 768

12. 768 remembered dreams?

13. Nope, not that many.

14. Some sort of actual dream count.....20

15. Ok, if only 20 vivid, remembered dreams, over 64 years, what was the other 11584 - 20 = 11582 dreams about?

16. No wonder I get up in the morning tired.
