If you have moved into a house, which has the AT&T Home Security System installed and do not want be bothered by it, or have used the system for years but are now ready to stop using it, it is quite easy to completely disable the system.

(1) Remove the 2 screws holding the central controller's front cover to the chassis and remove the cover.

(2) Remove the large battery inside the CC. Always disconnect the positive wire first.

(3) Unplug the telephone line from the connector on the chassis of the CC.

(4) Unplug the CC's power adapter from wall power.

(5) Replace the cover on the CC. Your AT&T Home Security System is now dead.
